Paper bag card

I created this after watching a video - posted for creative university. Card done by Aaron Brown. I wasn't going to post my card but she has posted a blog candy - to see what people have created so I thought why not?

Window Treat Box!

Ok So it is another Tuesday and I was up early - There is no better way to spend that extra time then creating. I hopped on over to Project Tuesday ( http://sasprojecttuesday.blogspot.com/ ) and started to create the new challange.

This one was a little harder for me, I am known for only using Close To My Heart papers etc, I had picked this paper up about a year and a half ago thinking that I could use it for my soon to be adopted son, and just never did. This morning seeing the project it just cried out that I use it. I hope you like it.

The window is created from half or one of our containers for the CTMH brads. (I have seen this done before on cards - thank you to who ever you were for the insperation)

What a Monday!

I was so excited t receive this award for my little blog!

Here are the simple rules for accepting this award:
1. Thank the person who gave it to you.
I definitely want to thank Cheyanne Hively…she is a fellow Close to my Heart consultant and her blog is awesome! Check it out http://cheyannehively09.blogspot.com/

2. Post the award on your blog.
I tried to get the picture to work but could not, hopefully everyone else can you can find it on Cheyanne's blog!

3. Tell everyone three things that you love.
I love my three children (well really I could make it four if I add my husband hehe)
I love to craft so being a close to my heart consultant really works for me!
And I love a great book, who could resist cuddling up with a great book!

4. A picture you love.
This is a picture of my son taken two years ago at Harrison Hot Springs in BC by my good friend Chantal! I just love it.

Paper Bag Album part 1

OK, I was waiting for my daughter to come home from her first high school dance last night so what could I do...CRAFT of course so here is what I came up with. I hope you enjoy - sorry the pics are so yellow but since the weather is bad today there really is no where to take good pictures in my house today. I really need to take another stab at a light box. I am thinking of doing this as a Christmas workshop, and I would love to know what you think :)
Thanks go out to my daughter Jayde for helping me, those are her fingers you see.
And Thanks to everyone else who has ever given me inspiration!
